Design retrieval, agent and evaluation systems that move AI features from demo to dependable production software.
What you will do
- Build RAG pipelines, tool-using agents and fine-tuned models for client products.
- Design evaluation suites that measure accuracy, safety and usefulness before every release.
- Partner with product and engineering teams on where AI helps and where it does not.
- Set up monitoring, cost controls and guardrails for models in production.
What we are looking for
- 4 or more years in software or ML engineering, with LLM-based systems shipped to users.
- Strong Python, plus comfort with TypeScript services.
- Experience with vector search, prompt design and model evaluation.
- Honest, measured communication about what AI can and cannot do.
Nice to have
- Fine-tuning and distillation experience
- Data engineering background
- Experience in regulated industries
