Syntheia is an independent software development agency of 85 engineers, designers and strategists. Since 2016 we have helped 64 companies launch, scale and rescue the products their business depends on.
We started because we were tired of watching good products fail for avoidable reasons: specifications thrown over a wall, designers and developers in separate rooms, and launch dates that slipped quietly until they did not.
So we built a studio with one rule. Strategy, design and engineering sit at the same table from the first day. The name comes from that idea. Synthesis is what happens when separate ingredients become something none of them could be alone.
2016
Two founders and a rented room
Aarav Khanna and Ishita Rao start Syntheia in a two-desk space in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, with one client and one rule: strategy, design and engineering share a table from day one.
2018
A team of twenty
Our first fintech engagement lands, along with the first dedicated design team and a code review culture that still defines us.
2020
Remote-first
We move to a remote-first model and launch our healthcare practice with a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
2022
Cloud practice and London
A dedicated cloud and DevOps practice is formed, and our London office opens to serve clients across Europe.
2024
AI, done carefully
Our AI practice launches with an evaluation-first rule: no model ships without a test suite that proves it works. Dubai opens the same year.
2026
180 products and counting
85 people, 64 clients and 96% of them returning for a second project.
